During the Covid-19 outbreak.

We wanted to reach out to let you know what Tacca Industries is doing to support our sales team, production staff, transport drivers, customers, continuity of our service and the community in general throughout this challenging time with the uncertainties that we all face.

Our primary concern will be to protect people and maintain our duty of care to our staff and anyone on our premises. Visitors will only be allowed on to our premises by appointment only.

What we’ve educated our staff on.

  • Personal hygiene in line with department of health recommendations.
  • Adhering to Federal Government 14 Day Quarantine policy for all overseas travellers.
  • What to do if a member of family/household is diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Wearing face masks when in production area.
  • Work from home wherever possible.

What we’ve educated our staff on.

  • We will be checking the temperature of all staff at the beginning of their shifts and anyone entering our premises.
  • We are stopping our staff from having any unnecessary face to face meetings.
  • We have upgraded our hygiene by increasing the number of hand sanitiser stations and placing them at more strategic locations.
  • For the safety of both staff and transport drivers, we will minimise face to face interactions.
  • We have placed a ban on international travel and all non-essential travel.

The current situation.

The current situation with our supply has not been impacted and it is business as usual. As Governments announce more restrictions, the situation is being monitored daily and action will be taken accordingly to minimize any impact.

Please be assured in this ever-changing environment we will immediately notify our clients of any developments which may arise, particularly those which jeopardise our inability to ensure continuity of supply.

Moving forward.

Tacca Industries will continue to follow all advice provided by the Australian Government and Department of Health in responding to this situation and will escalate measures as recommended or necessary involving appropriate parties/authorities throughout the process.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our family’s safety and wellbeing during this present environment.

If you have any further questions or would like to discuss the contents of this notice, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just one of the things we’ve had arrive in our factory to help.

This image shown is the arrival of our new piece of equipment that produces Melt Blown Fabric. It’s crucial to the making of surgical masks and isolation gowns. This special fabric forms the part of the mask and gowns where the bacteria is captured.

It is the first in Australia, and it’s here at Tacca.
