In August of 1987, Clem Tacca founded Tacca with a view to manufacture the best packaging in the country for businesses everywhere. Clem Tacca, Founder and CEO
Since 1987, Clem Tacca has led Tacca Industries from the front to create one of the largest family-owned and operated packaging companies in Australia. For over 30 years Clem has instilled clear philosophies in the company and his employees, while always thinking outside the box.
From day one, Clem has ensured his team are supported and rewarded for their hard work, making Tacca a workplace employees love coming to. He puts his clients first regardless of their size, and has built strong relationships with suppliers both in and out of the packaging industry. Clem takes pride in Tacca’s high customer and staff retention rate, and the support of suppliers who have been part of the journey since the beginning.
In order to become one of Australia’s leading thermoforming and extrusion businesses, specialising in bespoke environmentally sustainable PET packaging, Clem has made it his mission to be receptive and welcoming to change, while investing in new innovations and technologies and developing a quality over quantity approach to all his work. In adopting Clem’s philosophies and high standard of ethics, Tacca has grown to become one of the leading packaging companies in Australia.
Domenic Tacca, Managing Director
For over 25 years, Domenic Tacca has held a fundamental role in making Tacca Industries the successful, family-owned and operated packaging business it is today. After completing one year of an accounting degree at Western Sydney University, the call of the family business became too strong, and Domenic was all hands on deck from day one.
After starting out in manufacturing, Domenic moved to Production Manager, assisting in production as well as scheduling and ordering raw materials and consumables. As the company grew, so too did Domenic’s skills and experience, and he quickly moved into an Operations Manager role, which encompassed the Production Manager’s role as well as despatch and warehousing.
Today, Domenic holds the title of Managing Director at Tacca where he takes care of staff, clients and ensures all facets of the company are running smoothly. For over 25 years, Domenic has gone above and beyond to get his hands dirty in all areas of the business, and he still plays a major part in production to this day.
When he’s not hard at work, managing one of Australia’s leading packaging companies, Domenic is a devoted father to three children, and the loving husband to his supportive wife. Coming in at a close third is Domenic’s love for football, and you’ll regularly find him barracking for Liverpool FC and the Manly Sea Eagles.
